Project – Digital Inclusion Via Education
Location – Nagpur district in Maharashtra

Alignus is implementing a project for Digital Financial Literacy in Saoner, Katol and Kalmeshwar Talukas of Nagpur District in partnership with Grameen Foundation for Social Impact. The main objectives of the program are as below.

  • Train field level workers who access rural and urban people on a regular basis on digital financial literacy
  • Educate low-income beneficiaries on digital financial services (DFS), thereby enabling them to adopt the digital payments platform. The products in focus will be UPI/BHIM app, AEPS, Rupay Debit Cards and USSD
  • Use the power of local media based IEC activities to raise awareness about the importance of digital financial services

Villages volunteers, Asha Workers, Anganwadi Workers, Unemployed Youths, College Students, Housewives, SHG Members are providing training through various IEC materials designed by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) and other training tools. Alignus has reached to 200+ villages / urban bodies in Nagpur District and is connecting every household through local trainers.
